Atlanta United staged a stunning upset in Major Soccer League (MLS) Cup playoffs, eliminating Supporters' Shield winners Inter Miami CF with a 3-2 victory at Chase Stadium.

Argentina’s megastar, Lionel Messi, was seen sharing an emotional moment with his mother as he hugged her after the match. Messi’s dream finally came true on Sunday, as he led Argentina to the World Cup victory. La Albiceleste’s dream of lifting the cup finally became reality after 36 years.
After the match was over, Messi’s fans were overwhelmed as they saw him hugging his mother. Following Argentina’s win his mother Celia Maria Cuccittini came running as she hugged Messi. Both shared an emotional moment as tears fell out from Celia’s eyes.

This depicted how important is the World Cup final for Messi and his mother. Their emotional attachment, associated with the sport came, pouring down the eyes. This World Cup was the very last time we saw one of the greatest ever to have kicked the ball in Argentina’s jersey.
The legendary player has even hinted that he is not going to retire from the national team and will continue playing as a champion. He performed exceptionally throughout the tournament.
The FIFA World Cup 2022 witnessed a remarkable performance by Messi which is now regarded as his best performance ever in a World Cup. He scored a total of 7 goals and was the player of the tournament in the World Cup. Amongst the 7 goals he scored, 2 of them came in the World Cup final itself.
Thus, an incredible effort from Messi and the whole of Argentina’s team resulted in Argentina’s victory and Messi getting his hands on the golden trophy. This completed Messi’s cabinet of a FIFA World Cup trophy which was long dreamt of after Argentina’s defeat in the finals of 2014 world cup by the hands of Germany.
So, Messi’s moment finally arrived. The little boy from Rosario Argentina did it!
